Welcome to Sixpenny Handley
Village Hall
Sixpenny Handley is a large, vibrant village in a rural area of North East Dorset. Situated on the Cranborne Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village lies roughly equidistant between Salisbury to the east, Blandford to the west, Ringwood to the south and Shaftesbury to the north.
Conveniently located off the B3081, at the northern end of the village travelling towards Shaftesbury, our village hall is a versatile venue ideal for hosting a wide range of activities. From one-off special occasions such as wedding receptions and children’s parties to regular community activities and sports clubs. Sixpenny Handley Village Hall serves as a hub for regular events, including the community cinema, live music, workshops and activities for people with learning difficulties, theatrical performances for both adults and children, yoga and pilates classes. It has a lovely outside space for children to play in a safe enclosed area while adults can sit and enjoy a drink on the patio.
For full details about our venue please visit the facilities page. For pricing and availability see the rates and calendar pages. Or to book the hall, simply click HERE.
The hall is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), run by a team of trustees who volunteer their time to put on fundraising events throughout the year to ensure that the hall is well maintained and serving the local community.
