Community Cinema : The Ballad of Wallis Island

On Friday 17 April we are showing The Ballad of Wallis Island, which follows Charles, an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and dreams of getting his favourite musicians, McGwyer Mortimer (Tom Basden & Carey Mulligan) back together. His fantasy turns into reality when the bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Old tensions resurface as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig.

Doors and bar open at 6.30 pm. Films starts at 7.00 pm (there will be a short interval halfway through). Tickets cost £6 per person and are available on the door.  Bar, snacks & warm drinks available.
